Head towards the enemy base and make a camp nearby to discuss the infiltration tactic. The team will agree to sneak into the base during the night. An imperial mech will appear, although it won't be much of a challenge.

Rewards: 3,000 XPAs you leave the cave - two things will happen. A giant imperial ship will pass overhead, and will call to let you know that the Regalia is indeed being kept at an imperial base - likely the one that large ship is heading to. You’ll need to break in and steal it back, and that might involve fighting through a lot of the empire’s forces.Survey Aracheole Stronghold Now’s a good time to head back to Wiz Chocobo Post and make sure you’ve gotten the rental for some chocobos for at least a day longer - since the imperial outpost is on the other side of Duscae.

Getting close to the outpost, you’ll see a large red flare shoot up from a tower, and the very air will shimmer with red waves. Probably not a good thing. When you arrive on the road outside, will suggest resting at a nearby camp to devise a strategy.Once again, there’s a camp right outside the outpost - Sothmocke Haven. Don’t forget to eat a good meal beforehand. Considering who you’re likely up against, it’s also worth it to equip some bullet resistant armor if you have them.During camp, will lay out a plan to scope out the place and infiltrate during the night. You must finish this by morning, or the operation will be a bust, and you’ll have to escape and wait for night again.

He'll make a big fuss about not being seen ever - but things rarely go as planned, right?Infiltrate the Base You’ll begin outside the main road to the base near some large storage containers. The road up ahead is crawling with soldiers - and you cannot afford to be spotted, but that doesn’t mean you can’t kill. Follow to the left and wait as two troopers up on the road patrol. Will give a signal for you to warp strike to instantly kill a trooper from behind - so assassinate the trooper ahead, then quickly look right to warp-strike the next trooper. Note that there are a few collectible to find in this base - but if you're strapped for time or in risk of getting seen, consider coming back after the mission ends to loot the place.Be warned, as though the spotlights won’t automatically trigger an alarm - they do make a habit of following you and may give your position away - and inside the base that can complicate things, so stay away from the light when possible.

Head inside the main entrance to the base and move to the right, and take cover while large Magitek Armor mechs pass. If you are able to cross to the small gatehouse on the left, you can grab a Muscle Stimulant inside. From here, move right until you come to two more Imperial Troopers. Again you’ll have to assassinate them, but be wary of a third off to the right. If you don’t take out the trooper heading up to the third man quickly enough, you’ll be spotted trying to attack and will have to clear the area before any alarms sound. Despite the warnings, it's pretty hard to alert anyone else outside of the immediate threat - but the bonus AP for taking them all out silently is worth shooting for. There's also another small building here with a Reflex Booster inside. With this patrol out of the way, go down the road past the powered down mechs to a gate with red beams - and a keypad you can use to unlock the gate.

If you want, check behind the covered containers next to the gate to find a Mythril Shaft behind. In the next area, there will be six patrolling guards to take down, so be careful. As the three patrolling toward you break off, warp up behind the one who stays behind and sneak down the stairs to finish him off.

Then look to take out the one who went up the catwalk, and then the one down below him. The others are near the far gate, and will be facing you which means warping from the catwalk to the tower, and then to the small gatehouse building behind them.

If you have the time, check the bottom left area where you came in from for a Muscle Stimulant on top of a dumpster. And from the watchtower on the right side, jump over some storage containers to a hidden area in the bottom right for a Mythril Shaft.Once these guards are gone, check the gatehouse near the locked gate for a Magitek Booster before unlocking the door to the next area.

Imperial

The car is in sight, but so is a giant Magitek Mech - the MA-X Maniple. This mech has a lot of health, and missiles to spare - but the bigger they are, the more weakpoints they have. Warp-strike its legs with a greatsword to break them and send the thing down, then look up above it for a mounted launcher you can target, and warp-strike into it and slice off the appendage so that it can’t launch its guided missiles. When it’s damaged and kneels forward, that's your cue to hit the main head as it lowers to the ground. As it explodes, the resulting commotion will summon a horde of Imperials to your area. Adventure class c ragnarok mobile. Let your friends fend them off - as you have more important matters, the imperial turrets. Warp over to the turret above where the mech was and use it to blast a hole into the imperials - targeting the red barrels when you can to cause massive explosions.

Watch out as a sniper on a nearby watchtower may start taking potshots at you, so feel free to hit him or join the fray by warp-striking into him from afar. There's also a at the top of the watchtower, so make sure to grab it at some point. There's also a Chrome Bit hiding in the small building near the gate that leads to the outpost entrance where you came in from. The battle won’t be over yet, as will want you to take out the main generator powering the base. From where you destroyed the mech, look for another laser-locked gate to disable before heading through to the far side of the base.

There's a few catwalks up ahead, and to the left of the closest one is a Laser Sensor. At the other end of this area another mech will stalk out - but you can warp to the catwalk behind it to find a machinegun turret to rip it to pieces, and hit other barrels to increase your damage. The next area has splitting paths - with the generator to the South, and a large hanger to the North. Before continuing on, you can check a small shack in the top left area of this place to find Warped Wings.

If you take a brief detour away from the main generator through the small door leading to the large hangar, and watch for as you look for a smaller shack inside the hangar to find a new weapon - The Gravity Well. When you arrive the generator, two mechs will be ready to defend along with a horde of troops and snipers. Quickly warp to the catwalks to take out the snipers - and look for a turret to the left. However, using it on the generator seems to be no good, and those Magitek Armors are a real pain. At about this time, the god Ramuh should finally be able to help you out, and allow you to summon his power. Find a safe spot and hold down the summon button and you’ll get to witness and incredible display of power as both mechs, the generator, and everything in the area is blown to pieces. Nice. With the base destroyed, you can waltz out with the Regalia, and once again have access to your car.
